2023 CLAAS ORBIS 900
ORBIS: Powerful bite, easy harvest.Named a 2021 Top-10 New Product winner by World Ag Expo®, the ORBIS has seen many subtle refinements that deliver greater overall harvesting efficiency, faster unfolding and superior performance - even in down-crop situations
The row-independent CLAAS ORBIS.The row-independent ORBIS corn header range (900/750/600/450) combines new ideas with regard to structure and drive, and the years of global experience amassed by CLAAS. The high standard of the functional reliability and benefits of this all-new design are yours to enjoy, every minute in the field.
AdvantagesUniform and unique crop flow for high versatility and capacity
Efficient drive concept for minimal, industry-leading fuel economy
Excellent ground contour following with AUTO CONTOUR technology
Tilt adjustment for short, clean and even stubble across working width
Symmetrical folding in as little as 19 seconds for quick and easy maneuvering
Optimal accessibility for minimum service intervals and maximum uptime
Equipped with highly wear-resistant parts
CLAAS AUTO PILOT.Two sensor wands each gauge two rows of corn. The signals generated by these sensors are translated into appropriate steering impulses. The JAGUAR steering is automatic up to a speed of 7.5 mph (12 km/h). Twin-row sensing allows automatic steering in row widths of 14.76" to 31.5" (37.5 cm to 80 cm).
Free-running drive. With 11% less starting torque than comparable models, the low power requirement significantly reduces fuel consumption and enhances the overall performance of the forage harvester. As the outstanding chopping quality is maintained even during forage trailer changeovers, overall performance is increased.
Customizable companion.Various attachments and add-ons are available to allow you to optimize your ORBIS for any application:
Optimal conveyor caps and guide finger extensions improve crop flow in down crops or other difficult harvesting conditions
The bolt-on guide fingers optimize crop intake in a variety of harvesting conditions
A narrow center finger optimizes cutting performance in thin-stalked crops
Wide, bolt-on scrapers for the vertical feed drums make crop transfer to the pre-compression rollers easier
PREMIUM LINE parts.Time-consuming maintenance is a nuisance and a cost factor, cutting into your profit margin. With ORBIS, wear-resistant parts ensure high long-term reliability.
